Digital Media

We define this sector broadly to include the infrastructure, applications, analytics, and content behind the ongoing shift from passive consumption of offline media to the active consumption of online media. We have had a number of successes in this space including Rapt, Covigo, and Atheros.

Security

We are interested broadly in the security markets, including cyber, physical, and homeland security. We bring significant experience to the security space from our past successful investments in companies such as BigFix, Reconnex, and Shotspotter.

Demand-Side CleanTech

Our interest in Cleantech is primarily focused on technologies that help address the significant need for energy efficiency, infrastructure modernization and general demand-side energy management. We believe the datacenter, extended enterprise and consumer markets all offer large opportunities to build lasting companies. LVP’s initial investments in these growing markets include Bigfix and Akros Silicon.

We look for passionate entrepreneurs with capital efficient business models developing technologies that are easy to differentiate and defend from competition. We also look for evangelical customers who recognize the value of the solution and management teams with significant experience and the ability to scale.
